Where the Stairs Lead

The photograph "Where the Stairs Lead",was one of those shots where I just let my heart and eyes guide me in my morning travels.  Starting the morning out on the beach this morning hoping for a sunrise, it became apparent that the sun was going to hide, add this to an already crowded Memorial Day weekend scene, I started for home, but then noticed that the clouds were starting to break up, letting in some light.  A quick detour brought me back to a favorite spot at the Chapel on the Dunes, a little hidden gem tucked away in "Old Town" Port Aransas.  This spot can offer some beautiful opportunity, that varies by season, and lighting.  I was also graced with a new railing system that gives the beautiful church another cool touch so evident in this shot.   Port Aransas, Texas, May 23, 2020
