On the coast, breezy and often downright windy days are the norm; so for those of us whose fishing passion is accomplished in kayaks, a forecast of light wind is a call to action for a close knit group of friends to load the kayaks and meet somewhere before the sun comes up.  This group always is well armed with cameras, so action shots are part of the adventure, and you won't see dead fish pictures...you will instead see smiles and fish most likely destined for a photo and a release to fight again.  Today was no different, as a brilliant sunrise heralded the "Fiery Start" to another day, a day on the water...where better to capture a sunrise!

My good friend George is also a really good photographer, and his passion is capturing action shots of fishing.  Today I was fortunate enough to catch a few, and he got some great shots.  This shot was just prior to the release...you can see my smile!
